Dental fillings are a kind of tooth restoration that removes damaged areas of decaying material and fills either amalgam (silver) or plastic (white) material with the affected cavity. When we give you a filling, the decayed material is stripped from the tooth, the area is washed and the missing tooth is filled with the filling material to prevent further decay.
